Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise by music journalists and press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Her name was also recognized through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in her attic then becoming enthralled by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to pursue music for personal growth, rather than to earn money or to pursue as a hobby. Thus, she began with her own music. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork for being among her inspirations. To counter her mother's suggestion that people should not be aiming to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather be aware of the significance of them and the impact they have on society. When she began playing the piano, she was just six and was writing her first song when she was nine. Her family didn't have any idea until she was fourteen. Aurora had no idea of being famous. She claims that she enjoys composing songs. She believes music can make any person feel better.
